The successful candidate is a member of the Private Asset Operations team within MIM. As a Private Placement Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in executing the end-to-end process of private placement and infrastructure debt transactions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, organization skills, and a deep understanding of the private debt asset class.

The successful candidate is a member of the Private Asset Operations team within MIM. As a Private Placement Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in executing the end-to-end process of private placement and infrastructure debt transactions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, organization skills, and a deep understanding of the private debt asset class.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute all aspects of private placement and infrastructure debt transactions, including documentation, due diligence, tracking, and end-to-end funding processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, clients, and issuers to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the investment lifecycle with the goal of settling the Private debt transaction.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure proper documentation is in place.
- Provide oversight for cash and position reconciliations.
- Help lead projects to identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, implementing best practices and process improvements where applicable.
Required:
- 3-5 years of experience in investment operations, with a focus on private placements and infrastructure debt settlements and coordination.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated record of success in servicing institutional clients or funds
- Exceptional multi-tasking and time management skills
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
- Experience with Aladdin, Kyriba, or similar tools for settling transactions
- Capable of thriving in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
