Position Summary
The Supply Chain Analytics Intern supports the Head of Global Supply Chain in defining dashboards, metrics, and analytical frameworks essential to Metrea’s supply chain operations. This role offers the selected intern valuable, hands-on exposure to be on the cutting edge of data discovery and executive level presentation skills, as well as practical experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, aviation procurement, global logistics, and warehousing industry standards. The ideal candidate is motivated to contribute to the success of aircraft operations at Metrea by designing leading indicators and proactive dashboards that highlight supply chain performance and process analytics.
Essential Functions and Competency Statements
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making processes within the supply chain planning team.
- Help prepare reports and dashboards tracking supply chain performance metrics and provide insights for improvement.
- Participate in the planning and execution of supply chain projects aimed at enhancing operational insights and efficiency.
- Assist in the analysis and forecasting of demand for parts and components.
- Support the development and maintenance of inventory strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, global logistics, global inventory management, finance, and quality assurance, to ensure all facets of the business are captures in the metrics.
- Learn about compliance regulations and best practices related to the aviation supply chain and operations.
Supervisory Responsibility
This role does not have supervisory responsibilities
Work Environment
This role operates in an office setting using standard office equipment.
Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some physical abilities will be required.
Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time job of 29 hours per week carried out from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change by department and business needs.

Required Education and Certificates
- High School Degree;
- Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college with a major in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or Data Analysis
Computer Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong talent in managing large data sets in Microsoft Excel, PowerPivot, Azure
- PowerBI coding and dashboard development a plus
- Python and SQL experience a plus
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Must be able to accomplish any and all duties with minimal assistance.
- Must have good command of the English language; oral and written.
