What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Assistant Project Manager position at Metric Construction Corporation?

A successful APM will be able to work under tight deadlines. Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of construction industry experience. Multifamily wood frame over podium construction experience is highly desirable. Must be computer proficient with Procore experience.
Responsibilities:
- All aspects of construction project from planning through completion
- Ensure timely and quality workmanship
- Manage onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Interface with project superintendents, PMs, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, inspectors and clients
- Ensure adequate manpower is available for each task and compliant work performed
- Communicate with project team
- Review subcontractors’ scopes of work for contract execution
- Ensure that subcontractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work
- Coordinate required inspections
- Maintain high standards or workmanship that adhere to plans and specifications
- Complete weekly project updates with narrative and site progress photos
- Prepare for handover to client including punch list and achieving C.O.
Qualifications:
