We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director in the electric utility sector to join a TOP ENR engineering services firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies that align with company revenue targets and objectives within the electric utility sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building with key stakeholders, including utility executives and decision-makers.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities within the electric utility space.
- Work closely with internal teams, such as consultants, project managers, and subject matter experts, to develop tailored proposals that address client needs and industry challenges.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle—from initial outreach through negotiation and contract closure—ensuring a smooth handover to project delivery teams.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to boost brand visibility, build relationships, and generate leads.
- Report on sales pipeline, client interactions, and business development activities to senior leadership, providing regular updates on progress and strategic direction.
Skills and Qualifications

Salary : $140,000 - $210,000
