Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full-cycle estimating process on large-scale commercial projects from conceptual budgeting through final GMP submission.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor proposals to develop accurate and competitive cost estimates.
- Coordinate with project management, design teams, and executive leadership to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and budget.
- Mentor junior estimators and contribute to process improvement across regional estimating operations.
- Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to stay current with market pricing and trade availability.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating with a general contractor.
- Proven track record estimating ground-up and large-scale commercial projects.
- Proficient in estimating software such as Sage, OST, Bluebeam, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
