Overview:
Metric5 is seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft Technical Team Lead with 6-10 year's development experience in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, with additional experience with HRConnect desired. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a deep understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, and the ability to lead technical teams in designing, developing, and supporting complex PeopleSoft solutions. This is a hands-on role that also requires the candidate to participate in the development and delivery of PeopleSoft solutions/configurations. The ideal candidate will excel at communication, organization, team management, customer management.
Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise in Technical implementation of PeopleSoft across the technical teams.
- Provide leadership and guidance to technical teams in the delivery of PeopleSoft solutions across all areas of SDLC.
- Design technical solutions that align with business requirements and adhere to application architecture standards.
- Develop technical solutions using PeopleTools Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Page and Field Configurator.
- Provide production support, including troubleshooting, fixing, and performing maintenance activities.
- Create detailed technical design specifications and other necessary project documentation.
- Develop reports and queries using SQL, PeopleSoft Query, XML Publisher, and SQR.
- Engage with users and subject matter experts to gather requirements, participate in design discussions, and support user testing.
- Collaborate with analysts and other developers to resolve complex defects and issues.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products on-time.
- Lead 10 developers for a complex project delivery.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of development experience with PeopleSoft systems.
- 4 years of experience working with the following PeopleSoft modules: Core HR, Base Benefits, Payroll for North America, Time and Labor, Absence Management.
- Time and Labor or Absence Management experience is a must.
- 5 year's experience in Agile software delivery methodologies and Jira software.
- Strong programming skills and a good understanding of Peoplesoft architecture/data model/data tables.
- Proven experience in documenting defect information, including analysis, steps to reproduce, and technical fixes.
- Federal project experience is strongly preferred.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $170,000 annually
Location: Must reside in the Washington, DC Metro Area. Work may be onsite and/or hybrid
Clearance: ship is required (required by the federal government for this position). Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
