What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pet Customer Service Representative position at Metro Animals?
As a Store Associate at our shop, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to our human clients and our dog clients.
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments and reservations
- Ensure dogs play together safely.
- Greet Dog Parents as they enter
- Chat with Dog Parents and answer their questions
- Prepare to schedule any services they are asking for
- Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Keep a clean and inviting receptionist/waiting area.
- assist with bathing, drying and washing pets
- Assist with Daycare and Boarding
- use verbal and non-verbal techniques to keep the dog calm and ensure a great experience
- maintain a great attitude when communicating with clients
- keep the shop clean and do laundry
- observe all safety rules
- other tasks around the store that may arise
We are looking for someone who loves dogs and wants to work with every type of breed. No experience is required, but we would love it if you did have some prior animal handling skills. We’re looking for someone who can provide stellar customer service and comes to work with a great attitude. Must have own transportation and valid driver's license required

Pay: $9.00 - $15.00 per hour
