Construction Project Manager – Industrial Projects
Location: Colwich, KS
Travel: Up to 25% (approximately 80% office-based)

Please Note: Residential construction experience will not be considered. Candidates must have experience in industrial or commercial construction.

Position Overview:
This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of industrial construction projects, from pre-construction planning to close-out and warranty resolution. The Construction Project Manager will ensure alignment with budget, timeline, safety standards, and technical specifications while coordinating internal teams and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the execution and delivery of industrial construction projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are maintained.
- Interpret engineering and construction specifications to develop project scopes, schedules, and financial projections.
- Coordinate subcontractors, internal labor, and resources to ensure efficient project workflows.
- Provide internal teams and clients with detailed scopes of work, timelines, estimates, and project drawings.
- Partner with the supply chain team to manage procurement and timely delivery of tools, materials, and equipment.
- Generate and review progress reports, adjusting project strategies as necessary.
- Maintain active communication with clients, managing expectations and addressing project modifications.
- Interface with engineering, accounting, and warranty departments to ensure a seamless project lifecycle.
- Track financial metrics and expenses to support accurate invoicing and cost control.
- Assist in managing and resolving warranty issues post-project completion.
- Ensure full compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines throughout the construction process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial or commercial construction project management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project for scheduling and progress tracking.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret P&ID diagrams and engineering drawings.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as required by project demands.
