Our Award-Winning Client, a nationally recognized leader in financial services, is seeking an experienced Manager of Application Development and Support to oversee critical enterprise applications, including Hyperion and SAS infrastructures. This role requires a strategic leader with a blend of technical expertise and team management skills to drive innovation, maintain system integrity, and optimize performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of development professionals, guiding them in maintaining and enhancing key applications.
- Oversee Hyperion tools, including Hyperion Planning, Financial Reports, Essbase, EPMA, EAS, DRM, Hyperion security configuration, and Smart View, ensuring optimal system performance and security.
- Manage SAS Analytics, including Office Analytics, Enterprise Guide, Management Console, DI Studio, and CPM, leveraging these tools for efficient financial and analytical solutions.
- Collaborate closely with finance, planning, and analytics teams to assess business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Ensure efficient data integration and management using SQL, PL/SQL Server, and SSIS while maintaining high data accuracy and security.
- Establish best practices for system architectures, ensuring scalability, durability, and compliance with security standards.
- Provide technical leadership while ensuring data integrity and governance across all systems.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system functionality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience:
- At least 7 years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading a team, with a strong ability to coach, mentor, and develop employees.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Financial Reports, and Smart View, including security configuration and administrative support.
- Strong background in SAS technologies, including Analytics, Enterprise Guide, Office Analytics, Management Console, DI Studio, and CPM.
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL Server, and SSIS for data management and integration.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of working with diverse business teams.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to balance both management and technical execution.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
