Overview

Key Responsibilities

Operational Oversight

• Supervise MRI services, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and imaging standards.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines and departmental objectives.

Staff Management & Scheduling

• Assist with scheduling to optimize workflow and patient care.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.

Clinical Support & Leadership

• Perform MRI technologist duties as needed to maintain seamless patient care.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for staff.

On-Call Support

• Participate in the weekend on-call rotation to ensure continuous departmental coverage.

Qualifications

Education & Certification:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from an accredited Medical Radiographic Program.
• Advanced MRI certification (required).

Experience:

• Minimum of three years of MRI experience.
• At least two years of leadership or supervisory experience in radiology or imaging services.

Skills & Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of MRI techniques, radiology workflows, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven leadership abilities with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to foster collaboration, enhance team performance, and drive continuous improvement.
