Nuclear Medicine Technologist

What You’ll Do
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including general and cardiac studies
- Provide hands-on training and mentorship to students and staff
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of departmental protocols, quality assurance measures, and operational improvements
- Maintain accurate documentation and handle administrative and computer-related tasks
- Participate in an on-call rotation every 12 days, including 24-hour weekend shifts and 14-hour weeknight shifts
What You’ll Need
- Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Active ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology or NMTCB (CNMT) certification
- Vermont Nuclear Medicine Technologist license (or eligibility to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of paid experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Experience with PET/CT imaging and working in a Level I trauma center
- Familiarity with Epic EMR or similar electronic medical record systems
Key Skills
- Expertise in diagnostic evaluations and interpreting nuclear medicine results
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Proficiency in advanced imaging technologies, including PET scans
- Ability to uphold sterility with aseptic techniques
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- On-Call Responsibilities – Occasional evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
