Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including general imaging and cardiac studies
- Provide hands-on training and mentorship for students and staff
- Assist in developing and refining departmental protocols, quality assurance measures, and workflow improvements
- Maintain precise documentation and manage administrative and computer-related tasks
- Participate in an on-call rotation every 12 days, covering 24-hour weekend shifts and 14-hour weeknight shifts
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Certification
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
- Active ARRT Nuclear Medicine Technology certification or NMTCB (CNMT) certification
- Eligibility for or possession of a Vermont Nuclear Medicine Technologist license
Preferred Experience
- At least one year of professional experience in nuclear medicine
- Proficiency in PET/CT imaging and experience in a Level I trauma center
- Familiarity with Epic EMR or similar electronic medical record systems
Technical Skills
- Strong diagnostic expertise in nuclear medicine procedures
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Proficiency in advanced imaging technologies, including PET scans
- Ability to maintain sterility using aseptic techniques
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- On-Call Rotation – Includes occasional evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
