Nurse Manager – ICU, Med-Surg, and Telemetry

Are you a skilled nursing leader eager to drive excellence in patient care? We are looking for a Nurse Manager to oversee our ICU, Med-Surg, and Telemetry units. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality care, supporting staff growth, and maintaining efficient operations.
Schedule:
Primarily day shifts, with occasional night shifts as needed. Typically Monday-Friday, though flexibility is required based on business demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily functions of ICU, Med-Surg, and Telemetry units.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proper staffing, resources, and smooth patient flow.
- Lead initiatives to improve patient outcomes and enhance quality standards.
- Support staff development through training, competency evaluations, and mentorship.
- Foster a team-oriented, patient-focused culture.
- Serve as a primary liaison with leadership, including the Director of Inpatient Services and CNO.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Active RN license in North Carolina.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Previous experience in management or leadership roles.
- Recent hands-on patient care experience.
