Position Summary
The Radiology Supervisor will oversee and perform a wide range of radiologic procedures, including:
- General Radiography
- Fluoroscopy
- DXA
- Mammography
- CT
- OR Imaging
- PACS
You will provide clinical coverage during absences, guide a team of radiology professionals, and ensure clinical excellence across multiple modalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Workflow Management: Direct shift workflows and assign tasks to radiology staff.
- Clinical Coverage: Step in to provide coverage during vacations or unexpected absences.
- Inventory Coordination: Ensure sufficient departmental supplies through effective inventory management.
- Quality Control: Perform quality assurance checks to maintain clinical standards.
- Communication & Reporting: Maintain open communication with the Radiology Director about shift activities and staffing needs.
- Modality Expertise: Stay current with advanced imaging modalities, including CT and Mammography.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Certificate or Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Certification: ARRT(R) certification with additional certification in CT or Mammography.
- Licensure: Eligibility for Radiologic Technologist licensure in Vermont.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in radiology with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Supervisory Experience: In a unionized environment.
- Certifications: ARRT certifications in CT, Mammography, and Radiography.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Epic EMR and Visage PACS systems.
