Overview:

This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic 35-bed medical/surgical unit with a focus on adult patient conditions requiring hospital admission, including a comprehensive Bone & Joint program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized care to patients in a medical/surgical setting, facilitating recovery.
• Collaborate closely with hospitalist providers (physicians and nurse practitioners) to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide leadership and supervision to Patient Care Partners (LPN, CNA, or EMT).
• Care for adult patients with conditions that require hospital admission, including orthopedic care through the Bone & Joint program.

Must-Haves:

• Associate of Science Degree in Nursing
• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse licensure
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
• ACLS certification for Healthcare Providers (or obtained within 6 months of hire)

Nice-To-Haves:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
• Three years of recent critical care RN experience
• Current CMSRN certification or commitment to obtain within 2 years of hire
