Senior Sonographer, Women’s Health

Position Overview

Join a nationally recognized healthcare organization as a Senior Sonographer specializing in Women’s Health. Key Responsibilities

Diagnostic Imaging

  • Perform advanced OB/GYN ultrasounds, focusing on maternal-fetal health and high-risk pregnancies.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with physicians to interpret imaging results and ensure accurate, high-quality assessments.

Mentorship

  • Guide and mentor junior sonographers and new hires, fostering their professional growth and development.

Technology Expertise

  • Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and integrate innovative techniques into practice.

Critical Thinking

  • Solve complex diagnostic challenges using critical thinking and advanced imaging skills.

Required Skills

Certification

  • Advanced OB/GYN certification (ARDMS Certified).

Education

  • Graduation from an accredited Sonography program.

Experience

  • A minimum of six months of hands-on OB/GYN scanning experience beyond clinical training.

Preferred Skills

Specialization

  • Experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) is highly desirable.

Teamwork

  • Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.

Communication

  • Exceptional communication skills to manage high-volume workflows effectively.

  • Proven expertise in problem-solving during diagnostic imaging and patient assessments.
