This job requires drop buries to be done in surrounding areas of Paxton IL
Responsibilities
- Coax and Fiber service drop buries and bores
- Travel in company vehicles for service calls/on site projects
- Work with coax/fiber tools and equipment
- Communicate procedures, policies, and other information to customers
- Work with support to resolve customer issues
Experience/Skills/Requirements
- Entry Level
- High school diploma/GED required
- Willing to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime
- Valid driver’s license; good driving record
- Knowledge of mechanical and consumer devices
- Willing to work in varying heights, close spaces, and weather conditions
Preferred Skills
- experience with excavation or underground construction preferred
- Knowledge/experience with drop plow and/or trencher
- basic understanding of IT concepts and fundamentals/experience preferred
- Knowledge/experience with installation equipment
