Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices, a passion for supporting employee relations, and the expertise to handle a variety of HR functions. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices to foster a positive and efficient work environment. The HR Generalist will play a key role in recruitment, employee development, performance management, compensation, and compliance with relevant employment laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and new employee onboarding.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace issues. Provide support in conflict resolution and address employee concerns to maintain a positive work environment.
- Performance Management: Assist in the administration of performance evaluations, employee recognition programs, and the development of action plans for performance improvement.
- Compensation & Benefits: Administer compensation programs, including salary reviews, incentive plans, and benefit enrollment. Ensure compliance with all compensation-related policies and regulations.
- Compliance & Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Ensure HR practices align with legal and ethical standards.
- Policy Implementation & Communication: Support the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures to ensure understanding and adherence by all employees.
- Employee Engagement: Assist in conducting employee surveys, focus groups, and other activities to assess and improve employee satisfaction and engagement levels.
- HR Reporting & Metrics: Generate HR-related reports and assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification: SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management - Certified Professional) or SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management - Senior Certified Professional) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in HR software (e.g., HRIS systems) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with employee benefits administration and compensation programs.
- Familiarity with HR analytics and reporting tools.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for special projects or events.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary position: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 based on experience.
