What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Patient Experience Representative position at Metro Community Health Centers?
Metro Community Health Centers is seeking a talented and driven Patient Experience Representative to manage the outreach to potential patients while building value in the MCHC brand. The Patient Experience Representative will be the liaison between the patients and our clinics and assist with the scheduling of appointments for our comprehensive health services while providing the highest quality customer service. This role will primarily be tasked with patient intake and scheduling visits, though the position will also be crossed-trained to solve patient issues via phone, email and zoom. As an integral part of our call center, PER the will work closely with the Call Center Director to achieve departmental operation efficiencies and be the driving force that connects Metro Community Health Centers to the community.
Office Duties
- Answers phone calls, routes calls to appropriate personnel, takes messages and enters information into ECW.
- Exercises judgment in handling urgency of phone calls to physicians.
- Ensures that all messages (telephone or ECW) are routed to correct physician by end of business day.
- Schedules appointments, provides patient with all necessary information prior to visit.
- Ensures all information entered into ECW is accurate.
- Check Patient portal retrieve and respond to requests.
- Fax requests for authorization, medical notes, request for medical necessity, as requested.
- Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of e-Clinical Works electronic health record software preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- At least 2 years’ of relevant experience
- Performs all job responsibilities in full compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Adheres to the agency’s corporate compliance program, including the code of business contact, the NYS and federal false claims acts, whistle blower protections and mandatory reporting. Completes corporate compliance training at least annually. Fully cooperates in all compliance investigations and reviews.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.

- $18 per hour
