Role:
The role of the FXR3 is to assist members and potential members with their Credit Union needs directly and through other staff; provides expertise with respect to more complex Credit Union services such as loans, IRAs, certificates of deposit, electronic funds transfer, card services, home banking, home equities and other real estate loans, etc.; explains services, sets up new accounts, respond to problems, and direct members to the appropriate people.
Assist with the training of the loan staff, Assist members with loan requests, loan problems, and loan closings. Also performs a variety of back-office duties for loans and accounts.
The specific responsibilities of this position will be determined based on the operational needs of the branch. This may include face-to-face interaction with members, virtual or telephone-based communication, or any combination of the two.
FXR3 has shown mastery of their position as FXR2 and shown willingness to learn, take on responsibilities, and is able to do their work with minimal supervision.
Using a team-first mindset, assists credit union, branch, and staff in numerous areas and other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

- This job is about providing members with a great experience. Enthusiastically assists members with opening and closing accounts, answers questions about products and services, opens and closes loans, card services, online banking, and resolves problems that are within their authority to resolve.
- Assists other staff with technical problems and questions relating to complicated products and regulations. Refers problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisor, along with their recommendations.
- Comply with job related regulatory requirements including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, USA Patriot Act, OFAC and Fair Lending Regulations.
- Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells services to members.
- Performs teller duties as needed.
- Acts as liaison between members and various organizations and departments.
- Ensures appropriate records are maintained and required reports are prepared.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
Experience:
Three years to five years of similar or related experience. HELOC experience required.
Education:
A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills:
Always maintain a professional and positive attitude with coworkers, members, nonmembers, and visitors. Display outgoing personality, provide an excellent experience, and maintain ethical approach. It is important to be a team player and communicate consistently and timely.
Other Skills:
- Ability to acquire and maintain working knowledge of regulations relating to all Credit Union service and products.
- Capable of using current technology efficiently and willing to learn new technology.
- Proficiency in utilizing and adapting to evolving customer interaction technologies, such as chat software, is required.
- Ability to thrive and promote a changing environment.
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 20 pounds and able to stand and sit for long periods of time.
Reliable transportation is needed to and from work.
Work Environment:
Ability to work in an office environment whether sitting or standing for long periods of time. Ability to assist in functions in an outdoor environment.
