Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Junk Removal Foreman to oversee projects and ensure they are completed efficiently, safely, and timely. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of the Junk Removal processes. As a foreman, you will be responsible for managing on-site operations, supervising crew members, and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on the site site to ensure work is performed safely and effectively.
- Manage project timelines, ensuring that all tasks are completed within the allocated resources.
- Coordinate with customers/clients to facilitate smooth workflow and communication.
- Utilize construction management software to track project progress, manage schedules, create invoices and estimates, and document changes.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with OSHA standards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Oversee the training and development of crew members, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Prepare construction estimates and assist in contract negotiations to ensure project feasibility.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise on-site, implementing solutions promptly to minimize delays.
- Ability to safely drive and operate a box truck type of truck.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the Junk Removal industry, preferably as a Foreman or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial Junk Removal practices.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and construction estimating techniques.
- Proficient in using construction management software for project tracking and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality, as well as excellent customer service skills.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations related to construction site safety.
