**Job Posting: School Resource Officer**
**Location:** Tamarac, Florida

Metro South Protective Service and Investigations is actively seeking qualified candidates for the position of School Resource Officer. This critical role is focused on maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and school facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a visible presence on campus to deter and respond to incidents.
• Collaborate with school administrators to develop and implement safety protocols.
• Conduct investigations into incidents occurring on school property.
• Serve as a liaison between the school and local law enforcement agencies.

Qualifications:

• **State of Florida Security Licenses D & G** required.
• CPR Certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) is a plus.
• Must be fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
• Computer literate, with basic knowledge of technology and reporting tools.
• Able and willing to work in various weather conditions.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods.
