SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Co-Pack Production Supervisor, the Co-Pack Line Lead has primary responsibility for overseeing one production line within a Co-Pack plant, ensuring safety, quality and maximum productivity. Reviews all production standards and assembly drawings for each item to ensure all components match and performs quality checks.

EDUCATION
Reporting to the Co-Pack Production Supervisor, the Co-Pack Line Lead has primary responsibility for overseeing one production line within a Co-Pack plant, ensuring safety, quality and maximum productivity. Reviews all production standards and assembly drawings for each item to ensure all components match and performs quality checks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for enforcing safety and quality standards, good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and adherence to job specifications on the line.
- Guide and assist line workers to carry out duties and responsibilities in a safe, standardized, effective and efficient manner.
- Communicate and monitor shift productivity standards to ensure they are met or exceeded.
- Conduct audits on production lines per customer QA production audit requirements. Documents all inspections on standard company form.
- Able to quickly troubleshoot issues and keep production line moving.
- Monitor/maintain equipment for proper operation and report issues to Supervisor.
- Conduct finished goods counts, reconciliations of products and components, and return to inventory.
- Responsible for all production line documents and records. Assures all records are completed daily and accurately.
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work areas.
- Willing to help out in other departments during slower periods.
- Takes an active role in process and performance improvement.
- Other duties as required.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of one (1) year of packaging or manufacturing experience.
- Previous experience with Production Management System, preferably Nulogy.

EDUCATION
- Completion of secondary school diploma preferred or the equivalent in combination of education and experience.
- Willingness to attend and participate in training and development programs as required.
- College diploma in Logistics Management is an asset.

- Able to work a flexible work schedule including overtime, evenings, nights and weekends when required.
- Works 100% of their time on the production floor walking, standing and bending.
- Able to lift repetitively on average up to 40 lbs safely.
- Must be comfortable to work in cold temperature between 14 - 16 degrees.
