Metro Tech Electric Inc. is seeking experienced 3rd and 4th Year Electrical Apprentices to join our rapidly growing team. The successful Apprentice Electrician will be responsible for learning and understanding electrical code through the NEC; Assembling, installing, maintaining, and testing electrical equipment in commercial and industrial settings; and maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
Minimum Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 18 Years of Age
- Verified 4,000hrs as an Electrical Apprentice
EA3 – Electrical Apprentice, Level 3
Meet all Essential Functions of EA1 & EA2Perform 3 Point Saddle, & Back-to-Back conduit bends with hand benders.Terminate junction boxes.Install conduit Branch.Install conduit Feeder.Fixture connectionsUnderground rough in materialsUnderground rough in methodsOperate equipment, trenchers, backhoe, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, & lift trucks in a safe manner.Comprehends reading and drawing prints and schematics of same.Operate and mechanical personnel lifts (electric or gas powered).Minimum of 4,000 hrs. On-the-Job Training / Verifiable HoursMaintains compliance with company policies.Maintains compliance with all OSHA, Company, and customer-specific safety requirements.Performs other related duties as required and assignedEA4 – Electrical Apprentice, Level 4

Position requires working indoors and outdoors, while being exposed to all elements (Heat, Cold, Wind, Rain, etc.)Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiringLift up to 50lbs from ground and pull 50lbs of force.Fully squat, stoop or kneel for extended periods of time.Maintain a standing position for long periods of time while performing repetitive actionsComfortable and able to work at various heights. Work off ladders, scissor lifts, booms.Must be able to see colors to discern color-coded wiring.Schedule :
Work Schedule : Between the hours of 6 : 00 am to 6 : 00 pm, Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays.Metro Tech Electric Inc. considers any assignments within a 60-mile radius (one-way) of the Main Office (3344 S Ann Arbor Ave. Oklahoma City, OK 73179) standard, and will not pay mileage, per diem, or any type of additional compensation or reimbursement.
