- At least three (3) years' professional experience in a related field
- Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continuous improvements in services to customers.
- Assists with coordination in key MTC recruitment and retention events.
- Advises prospective students of program choices, provides presentations, conducts tours, and makes recommendations as appropriate in both student services, sending schools and events as assigned.
- Maintains office times at MTC and an on-site presence with sending schools to provide advisement and establish and maintain strong working relationships.
- Assists counselors and sending schools in career counseling activities.
- Manages student admission and enrollment by processing incoming applications, reviewing educational documents, conducting interviews and promoting available student resources.
- Coordinates orientations for new students.
- Assists with marketing (brochures, exhibits, career fairs, etc.) Assist in updating and distributing program information.
- Provides tech center presentations for area middle schools.
- Actively maintains up-to-date understanding of MTC career programs and services; professionally communicate information on career programs and related admission procedures to prospective students, families, and community partners.
- Forms and maintains cooperative working relationships with instructional staff, other Metro Tech staff members, guidance personnel of sending schools and agencies.
- Collects and analyzes data, develops reports that drive enrollment processes and instructional enrollments. Makes recommendations for programs and needs from prospective students.

- Must be able to provide means of transportation to travel daily to specified assignments.
