We seek a Project Lead to guide our spectroscopy instrument development projects from concept to completion, embodying our dedication to advancement and quality.

Job Description

The Project manager will be instrumental in driving our spectroscopy instrument development projects. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely, within-budget, and scope-compliant completion. Collaborating with scientists, engineers, and technical experts, you will lead the creation of superior spectroscopy instruments, meeting both our high standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of various spectroscopy instrument development projects.

· Coordinating between multiple international R&D teams and Product teams and organizations during product development. Summarize and present project updates and reports.

· Participate actively in every project phase, from the initial product requirement definition, concept and design to development, production and market launch. Leverage your domain knowledge to help the team succeed.

· Communicate with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams, to align and achieve project goals.

· Identify project risks early and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring minimal impact on timelines and budgets.

· Coordinate and inspire a multinational and multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of collaboration and ingenuity.

Education

· Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in science or engineering.

Experience:

3 - 5 years of experience managing product development projects in scientific instrument or consumer electronics industry.

· Experience in spectroscopy/optical/photonics/laser devices with strong domain knowledge in one of the following areas preferred (software development, embedded electronics, chemical analysis instrumentation, regulatory compliance, ISO9001 processes).

· Willingness to rapidly absorb extensive knowledge about our product portfolio, processes and unique challenges.

· Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, able to motivate and direct a diverse team.

· Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of decisive action in high-pressure situations.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder interaction. Capability to extrapolate and summarize information accurately and concisely.

· Familiarity with project management methodologies, software development, electronics and system architectures.

· (Preferred) Familiar with project management software tools, SharePoint, Python, or other automation tools.
