Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Design and develop data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts.
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into the data platform.
- Create data models and schemas to support business requirements and analytics needs.
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Manage and optimize the data infrastructure, including cloud-based solutions and on-premises systems.
- Leverage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for data storage, processing, and analysis.
- Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver solutions.
- Identify and resolve data-related issues and challenges.
- Automate data processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Document data processes, architecture, and workflows.
- All other duties as assigned
