Position: Bookkeeper
Location: Main Office (Fort Smith) 5516 S. 28th St Fort Smith, AR 72901
Employment Type: Full-Time Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Responsibilities:
- Record, organize, and maintain financial transactions in accordance with company policies.
- Perform accounts payable and receivable functions, including issuing invoices and processing payments.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and financial reports.
- Prepare and process payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage and monitor company budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist with preparing financial statements, tax documents, and reports for management.
- Collaborate with the Office Manager and other team members on financial matters.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (online or desktop) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience in the construction industry is a plus but not required.
