Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the SKU and materials database across internal platforms.
- Design and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI to visualize procurement trends, shortages, and vendor performance.
- Manage and optimize data flows between Excel, ERP systems, and business intelligence platforms.
- Analyze material data to identify patterns, anomalies, and areas for process improvement.
- Partner with preconstruction and purchasing teams to deliver procurement status and forecasting reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve material-related data integrity or system issues.
- Track materials, overages, and shortages across job sites and warehouse inventories.
- Conduct regular audits of data sources and reporting tools to ensure data integrity and consistency across systems.
- Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows and implement solutions to enhance system performance and reporting accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Competencies:
- Experience managing large datasets and material databases (Excel, Access, or SQL-based tools).
- Proficient in Power BI with the ability to build reports from raw data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-departmental collaboration abilities.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and process improvement-minded.
- AI experience.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required;
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Data Science, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in database management, inventory systems, or a similar data-focused role.
- Familiarity with construction materials or vendor management is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Outlook.
- Experience with SQL or other data querying tools.
