Job Description
- Greeting and Assisting Visitors:
- Welcoming families and guests in a respectful and compassionate manner.
- Directing visitors to the appropriate areas within the funeral home (e.g., arrangement office, chapel, visitation rooms).
- Phone and Communication Management:
- Answering phones, taking messages, and transferring calls as needed.
- Providing information to callers and visitors, answering questions about funeral services and procedures.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Processing paperwork, including death certificates, contracts, register books and other forms
- Maintaining accurate records and files related to funeral arrangements.
- Type program mock-ups
- Log flowers
- Submit newspaper obituaries
- Assisting with data entry and other clerical tasks.
- General Support:
- Assisting with the preparation of funeral services, such as setting up for visitations and handing out service folders.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Running errands as needed, such as picking up or delivering items.
- Other Duties:
- May assist with coordinating details of funeral services with clergy, family members, and other staff.
- May assist with the transportation of flowers and memorabilia.
- May be required to assist with funeral services.
- All other duties as assigned

Requirements
- High School Diploma
