This is a Seasonal Position with the Metropolitan Action Commission's Summer Food Program. This position is under the direct supervision of the Summer Food Services Program Coordinator and the general supervision of the CSBG/LIHEAP Program Director. The position is responsible for the management, monitoring and reporting of the Summer Food Service Program to supervisors.***THIS IS A SEASONAL POSITION/Not Eligible for Benefits***This position will start May 27th and end August 1st, 2025Work Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M.OrMonday - Friday 10:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M.***Extensive Background Check test is performed on applicants for this position with MAC.***
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Conduct pre-operational site visits and site reviewsObserve meal service operationsCheck on-site operations to ensure personnel are maintaining accurate records related to the Summer Food Service ProgramInsure program records can be monitored with minimal or no noticeInsure program operates in agreement with the requirementsComplete and submit weekly reports of visits and reviews to the Program CoordinatorsAssume other job related duties as requestedCoordinate with the staff to make special arrangements for participants and/or staff when needed
