Full Time Accounts Payable

Metropolitan Management is hiring for one of their locations in Seattle.

In this role you will apply accounting principles and practices to a variety of accounting responsibilities and participate in the company’s accounting close and reporting cycle. You will perform complex technical accounting research and documentation, assist with analyzing results for both internal and external parties, and contribute to projects within the finance department.

Essential Job Functions:

• Enter all invoices, receipts, and reimbursables in to Quickbooks for payment
• Reconcile all vendor accounts with Quickbooks entries
• Manage vendor buyer accounts and employee authorizations
• Manage entering credit card transactions
• Maintain and collect all W9 and COI documents for new vendors
• Renew and collect vehicle titles and tabs
• Process and mail all vendor checks and payments
• General accounting tasks

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of two (2) years of successful account specialist experience
• Good prioritization skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple activities simultaneously.
• Capable of critical thinking to overcome obstacles.
• Strong attention to detail, follow-up and follow through.
• Must be an effective communicator
• Ability to pass a background check
• Authorized to work in the USA
