Job Summary: Job Summary: Armed Security Officer monitors, patrols and assures a safe environment for customers and employees at the Headquarters, Memorial Midtown Station and Denver Avenue Station. Maintain knowledge of safe work practice, including reporting of unsafe conditions.
- Actively walks around and monitors the transfer stations and bays to ensure the safety of all customers and employees during the hours of operation.
- Actively monitors the security camera system and immediately reports any malfunctions to Assistant Operations Director.
- Ability to cope with situations firmly, courteously, tactfully and with respect for the rights of others.
- Must report to work on a regular and timely basis.
- Performs other incidental duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:
Armed Security Guard License required. CLEET Certification required. Oklahoma Driver’s License and good driving record required. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Working knowledge of local, state, and federal security regulations is required. Experience in the field of security is preferred.
