About the Veterinary Technician - Emergency Overnight Role
We are looking to add to our growing hospital and are in search of a Veterinary Nurse (Veterinary Technician) with at least two years of experience in emergency veterinary medicine to work in our Emergency Department.

Schedule : 8 pm - 8 am Thursday-Saturday
Compensation : From $27.50 / hr

What You’ll Do
Triage – identify emergencies and illnessesPerform various treatments on an in-house and outpatient basisAnesthesia : Induction, monitoring, troubleshooting, recover patientsAdminister medicationsAssist in proceduresPosition and capture of radiographsCommunicate with clients, and team members (verbally and written)Fear Free handling : safe, stress free interactions for team members, clients, and patientsRequirements
Two or more years of experience in emergency veterinary medicineCurrent CVT / LVT / RVT preferred or educational equivalent.Broad knowledge of basic small animal medicine (pharmacology, proper restraint / handling, venipuncture, laboratory testing)Thorough understanding and knowledge of medical terminology, medications, and disease processesAttention to detail and a calm demeanorAbility to work in a fast paced, environmentProficient computer skillsOur top tier benefits include
