What You’ll Do:
- Critical Patient Care: Provide hands-on care for critically ill or injured animals, including advanced monitoring and interventional techniques.
- Emergency Response: Assist in high-pressure emergency situations, perform patient evaluations, interpret diagnostics, and carry out interventions.
- Advanced Procedures: Perform and assist in advanced procedures such as catheter placement, CRI calculations, and other critical care tasks.
- Collaboration & Learning: Work with board-certified criticalists and our talented team to develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
- Client Communication: Explain diagnoses, treatment plans, and outcomes with empathy to pet owners.
- Professional Development: Commit to continual learning in a supportive teaching environment and mentor newer team members.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least 3 years of veterinary experience, with emergency or specialty care preferred.
- Certification: Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT) or VTS preferred.
- Skills: Strong technical abilities, with experience in critical care monitoring, emergency response, and advanced patient care.
- Attitude: A positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to both patient care and personal growth.
Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts (overnights and weekends required)
- Shifts: Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) PASE pays a shift differential of $2-$5/hr between the hours of 8pm-7am.
