Position Summary:
This role provides direct clinical patient care. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and coordinate direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis. They will supervise staff and ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care. The nurse will also support the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in ensuring competency of clinical staff and resource management related to patient care.
The nurse must have effective interpersonal and communication skills and be able to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school is required. An academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's degree) is preferred.
Certifications: A current license, certification, or registration to practice as a nurse is required, along with CPR certification.
