The Role
This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide direct clinical patient care, assessing, planning, and implementing care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis. You will be responsible for supervising staff, promoting competency, and effective resource management related to patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical patient care, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care plans.
- Supervise and delegate appropriate care to nursing staff, ensuring high-quality, safe, and compassionate care.
- Support the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, as well as competency of clinical staff and resource management.
Requirements
- Education:
Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school is required. An academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's degree) is preferred. - Certifications:
A current license, certification, or registration to practice as a nurse in accordance with law, regulation, or policy is required, along with CPR certification.
