Introduction
We are seeking a Spare Parts Coordinator Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for the coordination and development of Capital Equipment Spare Part Quotations. The Spare Parts Coordinator Specialist will work with internal departments including (but not limited to) Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, Capital Services and Aftermarket Services in the creation of project specific spare part quotations to be submitted to a customer for purchasing. In this position, you will report to Manager, Project Management, Grinding.
This position is mainly located in York, PA but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.

You will join a team of Spare Parts Coordinators dedicated to coordinate and create Metso Recommended Spare Parts List (RSPL). What You’ll Do
Organize and Maintain: Keep SharePoint sites up-to-date with RSPL information.
Template Creation: Develop RSPL templates for new capital equipment projects in SharePoint.
Document Coordination: Manage technical documents with the Lead Mechanical Engineer, Project Manager, PM assistant, and Procurement specialists and Buyers.
Data Extraction: Work with engineering drawings and bill-of-materials to extract data for RSPL input. Gain expertise in Metso’s engineering and internal business management system (experience with AutoCAD and/or SAP is a plus, but not required).
Status Reporting: Report the status of in-process RSPLs to Metso’s Global Quotation Support team (GQS) within the Service business line.
Software Proficiency: Learn and become proficient with new software packages to enhance department operations and performance.
Who You Are
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills. Communicates clearly, concisely, and accurately. Listens carefully and keeps others appropriately informed.
Team Player: Demonstrates cooperative team effort within the work group and works effectively with other groups and departments.
Work Management: Assesses and prioritizes work requirements, develops and executes plans in a timely manner, and accepts advice and direction well.
Independence: Ability to complete tasks with little or no supervision.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel. Working knowledge of SAP and the SAP Project Module.
Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to understand engineering drawings is helpful.
