Join our thriving Services (SVS) Global Logistics Operations (GLO) team at Metso, where we prioritize high standards in aftermarket Distribution Center operations. We are seeking an experienced Head of Warehousing for our North and Central America (NCA) region to join our SVS GLO team. In this role, you will oversee operational distribution center services, including warehousing, packaging, and value-added services within the region. You will ensure the performance and quality of operations by managing 3PL service provider contracts and warehouse operations.
In this position, you will report to the Director of Distribution Center Operations and be a member of the leadership team of Logistics Operations, NCA, with a dotted line reporting to Director of Logistics Operations, NCA.
This position will ideally be located in Phoenix (Mesa), AZ, however, Brookfield, WI and Columbia, SC Metso locations will also be considered and will potentially involve up to 50% of travel.

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance operational performance.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to boost cost-efficiency and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
- Analyze and optimize warehouse processes and systems.
- Performs other tasks as directed.
- Effective management skills with people, warehouse operations, projects, contracts, and stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse processes and systems.
- Experience with Lean continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficient in communication, negotiation, analysis, and report generation.
- Skilled in working with minimal supervision.
- Forward-thinking mindset with notable strategic insight.
- Highly organized with effective time management skills.
- Experience in logistics and warehousing with effective management of warehouse operations, processes, and partners.
- Ability to travel within the region and globally up to 50% of the time.
