Position Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Department: Finance
Reports to: Finance Manager
FLSA Class: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY
The position is responsible for all duties associated with the Accounts Receivable accounting process on a daily basis for Mette’s Cabinet Corner, Inc. and Air Park Storage. This position is also responsible for representing our company in an honest, professional, and ethical business manner.
DUTIES
1. Pull, process, bill and send statements on completed customer jobs.
2. Generate monthly accounts receivable statements, bill applicable service charges, monitor open accounts and collect past due balances.
3. Oversee processing of delivery/install information and posting of proposals.
4. Record retention for accounts receivable.
5. Report sales and reworks weekly.
6. Report accounts receivable portion of the monthly sales tax.
7. Oversee clean out and scan process for customer’s completed job information.
8. Oversee posting of daily cash receipts and banking.
9. Track, record, calculate and request payment for contractor job credits.
10. Process new dealer and wholesaler credit applications.
11. Complete annual PCI compliance test for credit card processing and annual E-Zone reporting.
12. Assist with processing rent payments, new leases, and terminations for Air Park Storage.
13. Assist with special projects and other administrative duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. High school diploma with a minimum of 2-5 years of previous experience in billing or accounts receivable.
2. Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical skills, detail oriented, self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, team player, personable and professional.
3. Must be able to give direction, act with maturity, practice good judgment, and demonstrate a positive can-do attitude.
4. Knowledge of what is sensitive information and ability to keep in confidential.
5. Comfortable working in a complex and fast paced work environment.
6. Computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.
SCHEDULING
The normal working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some Saturday hours may be required. Overtime is required when requested.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
