Our Opening and Your Responsibilities Mettler Toledo is seeking to hire a Business Intelligence Analyst responsible for creating a solid data base combining internal and external data to support or accelerate decision making. This includes various forms of research, analysis, business case calculation all with the objective to support strategy - and initiative formation and monitoring its performance and efficiency across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, set-up and maintain a data server which builds the base for data analysis.
- Identify data-based business shortfalls and opportunities within the Industrial Division and provide insight to the respective business users allowing to take action and consequently accelerate top line growth
- Test data validity or its finding by e.g. reviewing them with stakeholders allowing to contextualize the data. Upon need provide recommendation to further improve data quality
- Engage and collaborate with various stakeholders, including senior management, IT, product teams, and business users, to gather requirements, present insights, and facilitate discussions that drive data-driven decision-making and align strategic initiatives across the organization.
- Efficiently provide monthly reports to business users on key strategy or initiatives to monitor performance and efficiency
- As necessary develop and maintain dashboards
- Work with other data specialists globally to continuously expand your knowledge how to use data to create new insights
- Other duties as assigned
