Metz Culinary Management at Montgomery College is looking for a Chef / Manager for the Takoma Park Campus. Salary: $65,000 per year
This position will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Takoma Park Campus Dining program.
Responsibilites will include but not limited to:
- Overseeing the daily operations and food production for the Cafe, catering and concession operations
- Hiring and training of team members
- Hands on production for the cafe, concessions and for catering
- Financial accountability for daily sales and cash deposits
- Ordering and managing purchases, food cost and maintaining inventory
- Weekly schedules and controlling labor cost
- Overseeing and maintaining the safety, sanitation and cleanliness of the operation

Catering experience a strong plus!
Requirements:
- 3-5 Plus Years in a Supervisory role as Sous Chef or Executive Chef or Kitchen manager
- High Volume background
- Multi-outlet experience preferred
- Impeccable communication Skills
- Strong Restaurant Management knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of Menu implementation with STUNNING presentation ideas
- Strong Catering Experience
- Culinary Degree strongly preferred
