Field/Office Project Surveyor
Location: Southeastern, PA
Field/Office 60% / 40% Approximate depending on Project Load.
SIT or PLS desirable but not required.
Metz Engineers, Inc. serves longstanding client Surveying needs for Boundary, Topography, ALTA, Light Construction Layout, and Drainage Projects in Chester, Bucks, & Lehigh Counties.
We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to perform the following duties:
- Preparation of Proposals for Survey related Projects
· Time Management, Project Billing and Collections
· Interface with clients, engineers, architects.
· Research record documents such as plats, and deeds.
· Prepare stakeout data for boundary, topographic and construction projects.
· Review field data and process RAW data.
· Supervise staff for Easement Exhibits and Plats, Plans of Survey, Research Legal Records, for ALTA, Boundary and Topographic Surveys.
· Ability to perform Field Survey work.
· Proficient with Carlson Survey, Carlson SurvPC Data Collection, Carlson RTK GPS, and Carlson Robotic total station a Plus.
Small Project, Erosion Control Plan design and Small Project Stormwater Management design a plus. Construction inspection experience in sanitary sewer, storm sewer, concrete or asphalt is a plus as Metz also provides Construction Inspection services.
10 years of land survey experience, with progressively increasing responsibility.
