Located in Elmwood, LA, MBG Louisiana seeks a General Manager for the state of Louisiana. We have a competitive compensation package with a wide range of benefits for full-time employees. This position reports directly to Chief Revenue Officer Russell Motz and works at the Elmwood location.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer Motz (CRO), the General Manager (GM) of MBG Louisiana is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the business. This includes managing warehouse distribution, coordinating truck drivers, directing sales teams, and ensuring the company’s overall financial performance. The GM will drive operational excellence, foster a high-performing team, and uphold the company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The CRO is responsible for leading the GM and the shared services team ensures MBG LA operates effectively within established controls across operations, finance, technology, and human resources.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership:
o Manage the company’s P&L, budgets, and financial planning to ensure profitability and financial stability.
o Monitor key financial metrics, measure return on capital investment (ROIC) and implement corrective measures as needed.
o Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements across operations.
o Develop strategies to optimize profitability and reduce costs.
o Monitor and analyze sales and revenue metrics, making data-backed adjustments as necessary to achieve business objectives.
o Establish robust revenue operations, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and financial planning, to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Sales and Business Development:
o Drive sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets, and market penetration.
o Oversee key account management, fostering long-term partnerships with major clients and identifying opportunities for new business development.
o Build and manage a high-performing sales team, setting clear KPIs, providing regular feedback, and promoting a performance-driven culture.
o Strengthen MBG’s market positioning through industry analysis, competitor benchmarking, and customer feedback.
Operational Oversight:
o Manage and streamline all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely distribution, and compliance with safety standards.
o Oversee truck driver operations, focusing on route optimization, regulatory compliance, and timely deliveries.
o Ensure that all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety, transportation, and employment laws.
Team Development:
o Build and lead a cohesive team across all departments.
o Collaborate with HR to recruit, train, and retain top talent while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS
· Executive leadership experience in warehouse distribution, logistics, or sales, ideally in beverage or consumer goods.
· 10 years in sales or revenue leadership, including 5 years at the executive level.
· Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth in distribution or logistics.
· Strong skills in strategy, analytics, problem-solving, and financial management.
· Proven leadership of large, geographically dispersed teams.
· Excellent communicator with a customer-focused, results-driven approach.
· Data-driven decision-maker with strong financial acumen and KPI management.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and skilled in managing complex projects.
· Highly organized, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
