POSITION TITLE: Hourly Custodial Worker
CURRENT ASSIGNMENT: Mexico Middle School
CERTIFICATION : Civil Service - Labor Class
START DATE: March 2025
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Moderate to heavy lifting required
- Knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies, and equipment
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Willingness to perform routine cleaning and other manual tasks
- Experience with minor maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical tasks
- Ability to work independently
- MS Hourly Custodial Worker will be responsible for athletic practices at Middle School, games, events, cleaning, routine maintenance, and other miscellaneous duties
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Job specifications as per Civil Service and district job description
- 10-month position (mid-August through the end of May)
- Part-Time: Saturday - 6:30 am to 3:00 pm or as needed to meet district needs
- $22.00 per hour
