POSITION PURPOSE
The Marketplace Specialist will be responsible for identifying and listing products on various online marketplaces. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have experience with e-commerce platforms and a passion for optimizing product listings to drive sales.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- List products on online marketplaces with the channel-specific requirements
- Create and optimize product listings to ensure maximum visibility and sales.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with other teams to maximize quantity & quality of listings
- Ensure all product information is accurate and up to date.
- Assist with all other supervisor-assigned tasks
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
TRAINING: Minimum of one month on the job training required
EXPERIENCE: Proven experience in e-commerce or online marketplace
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Must be able to maintain an organized workspace
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Skill in completing assignments accurately with attention to detail
- A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
- Must have the ability to understand and follow instructions
SPECIAL DEMANDS: Must be able to effectively interact with varying situations and personalities
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must have the ability to stand, walk, and squat for duration of shift
- Must have the ability to type with full range of arm movement
- Talking, hearing, and seeing are essential
