Description
The Warehouse Trainer will conduct New Employee Orientation and ensure that employees are trained to work safely and follow all policies and procedures set in place.
Job Responsibilities and Functions:
• Conduct New Employee Orientation and Benefits training
• Ensure associates have all tools necessary to complete their job responsibilities
• Set a standard of excellence in job performance, attendance, and adherence to all policies and procedures
• Assist with identifying root cause for common errors made and developing a solution to resolve the problem
• Continuously follows up and keeps lines of communication open with new hires
• Consistently monitors and assesses a new employees performance and identifies specific skill/gaps to ensure training objectives are satisfied
• Provides input and makes recommendations regarding the procedures and practices of new hire training
• Issues assessment tools to monitor participant progress
• Assist with interpreting when needed for interviews, training, and orientation
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Experience: Previous training and warehouse experience is a plus
Job Skills and Abilities:
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is perferred but not required
- Ability to assist and train in all departments of the company
- Ability to communicate proficiently in both English and Spanish is preferred as you may be assisting both English and Spanish-speaking employees
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the company
- FT warehouse new hire training
- Assist with PT training when needed
- Give 1-week/3-week updates weekly
- Present the Safety Orientation
- Train employees on PIT
- Assist with training updates
- Present outbound training
- Assist with stocking/picking when time allows
- Working with Supervisors on 60-day performance reviews
- All other misc. training assigned.
