Meyer Foods Management Company is seeking a motivated and dynamic Recruiter to support our recruitment efforts for management positions across our 34 Culver’s restaurants. In this role, you will work directly with Owner Operators and the Operations Team to source, recruit, and onboard talented managers who will lead our restaurant teams and ensure the success of each location. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position requires someone who can work independently while maintaining a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the evolving needs of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Sourcing:
- Collaborate with Owner Operators and the Operations Team to understand the specific needs of each restaurant and determine the ideal qualifications for management candidates.
- Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to identify, attract, and engage qualified management candidates for Culver’s restaurants.
- Use a variety of sourcing methods such as job boards, social media, networking, and referrals to build a strong pipeline of potential candidates.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial phone interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications, leadership capabilities, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates, the operations team and Owner Operators, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Guide candidates through the entire process, from application to offer.
- Analyze hiring metrics to determine strategies for continuous improvement of recruitment efforts.
Onboarding & Integration:
- Guide selected candidates through the onboarding process, ensuring all required documentation is completed and that candidates are well-prepared to transition into the organization.
- Provide new hires with clear expectations about company policies, values, and the culture of Meyer Foods and Culver’s.
- Facilitate a smooth handoff of new hires to the Operations Team for orientation and integration into new hire’s respective restaurants.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Maintain ongoing communication with both Owner Operators and the Operations Team to ensure alignment in recruitment efforts and to address any hiring challenges.
- Regularly update both Owner Operators and the Operations Team on the progress of recruitment, including candidate pipeline status and any critical hiring needs.
- Act as a liaison between the recruitment process and the operational needs of the business, ensuring both recruitment and operational teams are aligned.
Self-Management & Teamwork:
- Take full ownership of the recruitment process while maintaining a collaborative approach with both Owner Operators and the Operations Team to meet the company’s hiring needs.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to rapidly changing environments, balancing multiple priorities while ensuring timely recruitment.
- Actively contribute to team meetings and provide insights into the recruitment process to optimize hiring strategies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in recruiting, ideally within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, sourcing tools, and candidate evaluation techniques.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates, Owner Operators, and the Operations Team.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple recruitment priorities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and meet deadlines.
- Experience in onboarding employees and guiding them through company processes is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- A passion for supporting team development and contributing to the overall success of the business.
- Experience with Workstream Applicant Tracking System is a plus. Applicant Tracking System experience is a requirement.
Working Environment:
- Fast-paced and dynamic, working closely with both Owner Operators and the Operations Team across multiple locations in multiple states throughout the midwest.
- Some travel may be required to visit restaurant locations and collaborate with Owner Operators.
- Flexible working hours to meet the demands of recruiting across a large network of locations.
