Job Summary/ Scope:
The Associate Retention & Lifecycle Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of customized strategies that help optimize customer experience, maximize lifetime value, and reduce customer churn across email and SMS. This role will grow repeat revenue profitably by driving incremental sales from existing customers and ultimately unifying the customer retention strategy across: Email, SMS and Loyalty channels; there will be some paid support elements to reactivate and reengage existing and lapsed customers through META and Direct Mail. Lastly, you will lean into data – gathering actionable insights in partnership with our analytics function – to hone your strategies, focusing on key metrics such as LTV, AOV, Churn, CVR, etc. to drive maximum engagement and revenue growth.
Essential Job Duties:
- Support the Retention Digital Marketing Manager in designing and overseeing all aspects of our retention strategy, content planning, development, and execution across our marketing database and segmentation, and email and SMS campaigns.
- Partner closely with Creative Services and Brand teams to brief compelling and engaging content driving solid open rates, CTR, and conversions across segmented audiences optimizing content/messaging accordingly to drive maximum profitable revenue.
- Partner with Growth, data and analytics to identify leading drivers for retention to build and implement appropriate programs developing customer segmentation strategies and tailored messaging to ensure personalized marketing campaigns for optimal performance outcome.
- Preparing accurate reports on our marketing campaign’s overall performance.
- Working with your team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies.
- Plan and implement email, and SMS campaigns aligned with brand positioning and objectives, using best in class content strategy for each digital channel for every brand.
- Partner with internal teams to create and execute digital content and advertising that conveys each brand’s story in compelling, engaging, and creative ways.
- Plan and implement content calendars for email and SMS platforms ensuring campaigns and content align across platforms and with broader brand communications, to tell cohesive brand stories.
- Brainstorm new content ideas and strategies
- Engage with license partners as needed.
- Track and analyze content performance, test and iterate to optimize results.
- Stay current with content strategies, trends, and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in the Digital Marketing field, with proven ability to drive impactful results with modest means.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies and tactics.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and consumer insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Demonstrate ownership and a drive attitude.
- Collaborate cross functionally and with key stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of Meyer employees and vendors.
- Able to give oral presentations and prepare professional presentations utilizing PowerPoint and digital media.
- Detail-oriented and possess conceptual/creative skills.
- Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills.
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and establish (and re-establish) priorities for self and team.
