The role of the Sanitization Operator is to ensure our facility and environment are free of debris and cleaned to a level that meets regulatory, customer, and Mezzetta' s exacting standards for food safety. Sanitation is critical to our Food Safety Plan's success and requires a personal commitment to following sanitation SOPs, chemical safety, and teamwork.

The role of the Sanitization Operator is to ensure our facility and environment are free of debris and cleaned to a level that meets regulatory, customer, and Mezzetta' s exacting standards for food safety. Responsibilities
- Understand essential chemical use (dilutions & titration kits) and safe handling.
- To achieve food safety standards, adhere to all GMP, FPQ, and HACCP requirements.
- Proficient in following Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) per asset requiring daily cleaning.
- Accurate record keeping of sanitation records.
- Complete 100% of required Alchemy training (Personal Safety and Food Safety Training).
- Able to follow verbal and written work instructions and activities within the scope of the job description.
- Complete required trainings.
- Teamwork – Giving 100% effort to support the team in achieving the production plan for the shift and meeting the goals for productivity, safety, and quality.
- Employee Ownership – Taking pride in your work and maintaining the area as you own it.
- Attention to Detail – The products you provide should meet our exacting requirements, and wherever you are assigned, the work will be done exactly as required to achieve success in the workplace.
- Safety and Environment Awareness – Attention to your surroundings so if anything seems out of the ordinary, you will identify it and call your Leader to resolve the issue.
